Database manager

Each database/project registered or 'connected' to yiour BRAHMS installation must be added to the database list. This file can be opened by users with Admin level access using File > Database manager. The list is held in the file projects.dbf which by defauilt is located in the flder brahms\users. The file location can be changed.

When you install BRAHMS, an empty database project is always stored in the filder brahms\template\database. The template database is copied when you create new databases.

An example database manager list.

Restricting access to individual databases

On networks, you can restrict access to particular databases by

a) adding * to the RESTRICTDB field

b) adding the user(s) to the memo field USERLIST. To add users, use a standard lookup (F9) in that field. You can add multiple users.

When logging into BRAHMS, you can choose which project to open using the Project list drop-down. In this example, the default net mode has been set to multi-user.
