To make full use of the data in your RDE files, these data should be transferred into BRAHMS. A series of separate RDE files does not constitute a database - the data in one RDE file is not integrated with the data in another. RDE is not designed as an efficient way to store data in the long term.
Thus, although you can undertake many processing tasks in individual RDE files (including printing labels and preparing maps), to optimize the value of your data, you should transfer data from your RDE files into your main BRAHMS database.
The exercise on transferring an RDE file to BRAHMS is a useful starting point.

The Version 6 RDE importer form. Note that you can restrict the data transfer to tagged records.
