Analyse data in selected column

Use the toolbar option or Calculate > Analyse data in selected column to count and display the total number of records per different value in the current column. This option is a handy way to summarise the number of records in a file with a value in the selected field. It can be used in any numeric, character, memo or date field in any file. The results can be sorted, viewed, reported on, exported to Excel,or saved to the Saved File manager.

The calculate result is also automatically saved to a file that can be opened and further processed using Extracts > Recent saved files > Last single-column data analysis.

Once in Excel, summary data produced using the option can easily be charted.
